Life

In the family and at work as a creative director

How did I become a creative director
AND a 3-D paper architect?

Reflecting on the very three-dimensional nature of my homeland, Austria, how could I possibly have become anything else?

But really - I have always enjoyed working with my hands. Together with my love of photography and design, I have created the perfect job for me.

I also have a rather adventurous nature. So, with my Bachelor of Design tucked under my arm, I ventured out into the world. And the world of advertising.

Over the 21 years I have been in this industry, I have founded my own design company, worked for design boutiques in Europe, for McCann Erickson in Italy, JWT in Brazil, Germany and Hong Kong, Y&R in Miami, Agency.com in New York and now for the IAEA in Vienna, Austria.

Somewhere in between, I even found time to get married and create four very special 3-D projects of my own - Anand, Lakshmi, Savita and Niranjana.

And, though I play with paper, my curiosity has made me play with a wide variety of computer programs. I'm very hands-on with both Apple Mac and PC programs, and since my stay in Hong Kong in 1995/96, I have become a successful expert in the development of international Web Projects.

I embrace new challenges, enjoy being part of a team, and am happiest when working with other enthusiastic people, who love what they do.

Many times I have been asked: "How do you manage to stay so calm and relaxed in such a hectic environment?" Click here to read my answer.
